ManMitra Privacy Notice
Version privacy-notice-v1.1-2026-08-14 · en-IN
Who this notice covers
This notice explains how Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut (CCSU) processes personal information through ManMitra. It applies to adults who create an account, take a psychometric test, ask for support, or add optional biomedical records.
ManMitra is a university wellbeing screening and support service. It is not an emergency service and does not provide a medical diagnosis.
Information we collect
We collect your name, self-declared university relationship, university ID, department or unit, programme or designation, verified email address, and Indian mobile number.
If you take a psychometric test, we collect your answers, calculated scores, wellbeing guidance, submission time, and the version and language of the assessment. We do not collect your date of birth, location history, browsing history, or behavioural advertising data.
Biomedical records are optional. If you choose to add them, we collect only the report information you enter and the psychometric test that you choose to link it to.
Why we use your information
We use account information to provide and secure the service, verify your email, show your history, respond to privacy requests, and operate the service safely.
We use psychometric-test information to calculate and present guidance, support authorised counselling casework, and maintain de-identified operational records. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising.
Who can access it
You can view your own account information, psychometric-test history, and biomedical records. Other participants, teachers, departments, and the public cannot access your record.
Only authorised CCSU staff can access sensitive details when needed for support, safeguarding, administration, or a documented privacy request. Administrative access requires an authenticated administrator account, a recorded purpose, and an audit trail.
Retention and deletion
Identifiable participant records are scheduled for deletion after 24 months without activity. You can ask for access, correction, restriction, withdrawal, or erasure from your profile.
Withdrawal disables your account access immediately. Approved erasure removes the account and subject-linked records within 30 days, except for the minimal non-identifying evidence needed to prove completion and meet approved retention obligations.
Security and service providers
ManMitra applies role-based access controls, encrypted transport, audited administrative reads, and encrypted backup and log processes. No security control can guarantee absolute protection, but CCSU monitors and improves the service.
CCSU uses Supabase for authenticated data services and Vercel for application hosting. These providers process information only to deliver and protect the service.
Your choices and questions
Participation is voluntary. You may stop using ManMitra at any time, withdraw consent, or submit a privacy request from your profile. Choosing not to take a psychometric test does not create an academic penalty.
For questions about this notice or your information, contact the CCSU team through the university support channel published for ManMitra. For an urgent mental-health concern, call Tele-MANAS on 14416 rather than waiting for a response through ManMitra.
Changes to this notice
If this notice changes materially, CCSU will publish a new version and ask affected participants to review and accept it before processing continues where a new consent is required.
