A university initiative,
built for the CCSU community

ManMitra — “a friend of the mind” — is Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut’s confidential wellbeing companion for the 2026–27 academic year.

Why ManMitra exists

University life is full of pressure — studies, work, placements, and expectations. Many people never get a quiet, structured moment to ask themselves how they are actually doing. ManMitra gives participating Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut community members that moment four times a year, with a direct route to verified support information.

The instrument

The Psychometric Test uses the 21-item Depression Anxiety Stress Scales (DASS-21), a widely used, evidence-informed self-report instrument, available in English, Hindi, and Hinglish. Results are presented as three simple wellbeing dimensions — never as a diagnosis.

Who is behind it

The platform is owned and operated by Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut. The counselling cell reviews every part of the participant experience — from question wording to what happens after an elevated result — and authorised staff are the only people who can see detailed results.
